Updated portfolio. I liked the previous layout but it was getting too small for its content. So, new one. Go, my rainbow gradients!

Hello! I live!
I just moved to California with Denise. We had to wait an entire year, but here we are! Finally!

We still have a lot of things to reorganize, but everything is fine. :)

I do like Crobat, but I feel like it’s a bit detached from the rest of the line. I like the whole idea of how Golbat’s hind legs turned into wings to fly faster, but then why does Crobat have feet in addition to that? Why does Crobat drop completely the vampire aspects of Zubat and Golbat?
So this is my take on a different Crobat.
A thing that I’m getting reading the Pokédex descriptions is that Zubat would live all of its life in caves and is not suited for any other environment, while Golbat and Crobat are able to live outside of caves, so I wanted to have their ears and eyes show this adaptation clearly: if on one end of the line Zubat depends on echolocation alone to move and it has big ears and no eyes, Crobat on the other end would be more eyesight-based, so its ears are small and upright and its eyes are larger.
I am not sure how there could even be Crobat in the wild, but they do exist in-game (gen 5), so I’m suspecting that the whole evolution by happiness idea doesn’t really depend on trainers. Maybe it’s just about how happy the Pokémon is no matter what.
Anyway here we go, with too many words about bats in Pokémon.

Added some things to my Society6 store. Now they produce blankets, too!

There’s another round of free shipping up until August 10th. The important thing of this time is that there’s $10 off all blankets, so if you were considering to get any from me (or any other artist on Society6), the time is now!
